A man has been arrested in connection with what the police in Trøndelag describe as a serious violent incident in Ørland on Good Friday.

“The police are conducting tactical and technical investigations. We are in contact with the victim,” the police wrote on Twitter.

The operations center in the Trøndelag Police District told NTB that the victim doesn’t have life-threatening injuries.

On-duty lawyer in the police in Trøndelag, Åsta Elden, told the newspaper Dagbladet that both the man who was arrested and the man who was injured are in their 20s.

“For us, the report and the information we have at the moment appear as if it is a serious incident of violence,” Elden told Adresseavisen.
