Police uncover professional drug network in Troms – tens of kilos of hashish seized

The police in Troms uncovered what they described as a professional drug network, which is suspected of importing and transporting drugs to Norway over several years.

A total of 13 people have been charged in the case, and eight are now in custody. Tens of kilos of hashish have been seized, the police state in a press release.

The network consisted of people with connections to Northern Norway and Troms.

“We are very pleased to have busted a network that we believe has earned significant sums on the importation of drugs over time. Fighting criminal networks is a high-priority task in the Troms Police District. This is one of several well-organized networks that have been busted in recent years,” Yngve Myrvoll, a police inspector in Troms Police District, noted.
