“Due to weather changes, there are many slippery roads and surface water throughout Eastern Norway. All our crews are out. Slow down, and drive according to the conditions,” Vegtrafikksentralen east warned on Twitter.

In several places in Romerike, the police have received several reports of traffic accidents as a result of the demanding driving conditions. No serious injuries have been reported.

“The patrols report slippery roads in several places,” the Eastern Police District wrote on Twitter.

It was also extremely slippery on Friday morning in the outdoor areas at Oslo Airport at Gardermoen, which led to the planes not being allowed to take off from the runway for a short period.
