On Sunday, the Norwegian government agreed to offer the third vaccine dose to everyone between the ages of 18 and 45 by the end of February. Porsgrunn starts with the vaccination already on Monday.

“We are very pleased that the government allows municipalities that want to do so and have the capacity to offer the third dose to everyone over 18 years of age who satisfy the 20-week interval requirement,” Porsgrunn Mayor Robin Kåss (AP) stated in a press release Sunday night.

“We have good capacity and will start already from tomorrow morning,” Kåss said on Sunday.

He added that everyone in the Municipality over the age of 18 who received the second dose 20 weeks ago or more can book an appointment or show up for drop-in vaccination.
