An employee with connections to the vaccination station in Bergenshallen may have been infected with the coronavirus.

The employee is waiting for test results and is quarantined.

“We are early in the process, but I do not think that this person may have infected any of those who have been vaccinated, even if the person should turn out to have COVID-19,” infection control chief Egil Bovim in Bergen Municipality said on Tuesday.

The vaccine station will be disinfected so that it can remain open as usual on Wednesday.
