Price record at apartment in Oslo

An apartment of 151 square meters on Gimletoppen in Oslo was  sold for 45 million NOK this week. The price per square meter of 286,624 kroner is a new Nordic record.
The old record also belonged to the same apartment, the newspaper VG writes. In November 2014, it was sold for 40 million, giving a square meter record of 254,777 NOK, the  newspaper Finansavisen informs.
This means that, n addition to setting a new record, the seller have made a profit of NOK 5 million or 12.5 percent over the 16 years he has owned top floor apartment in the exclusive residential block 1967.
The apartment is located in an embassy district which in recent years has become the country’s most expensive residential area. There is a wating list for the most attractive addresses, which never show up in housing advertisements, the newspaper writes.
