The Prime Minister took part in the Lucia celebration in Alta
For outdoor Kindergarden Breidablikk in Alta there was a new twist to the Lucia celebration when the Prime Minister joined in.
Their thermal suits hung out on the pegs whilst the kids did their uttermost to make a fuss of the prominent guest.
Not just one, but three times the Lucia procession glided through the nursery whilst the saffron yellow ‘lussekatter’ were generously given out.
– The lights prickled a bit in my neck, one of the little girls said when the procession was over, as she reflected on how many people participated in the procession for the prominent guest.
