The Prime Minister’s mother has been laid to rest

Beautiful flowers surrounded the stretcher to Inger Wenche Solberg during the funeral in Møllendal large chapel in Bergen on Wednesday. The Prime Minister’s mother was 90 years old.

– She was always generous, positive and optimistic even though the last five months were painful because of illness, wrote Prime Minister Erna Solberg on Facebook when she earlier this month made known that her mother had died.

– She created a caring home for children and grandchildren, which was safe for us all. We grieve, but have warm and good memories, she stated.

Erna Solberg lost her father Asbjørn already in 1989, the same year she was elected to the parliament for the first time.
