Progress Party (FRP) gets a support of 16.7 percent in the  VG’s february poll. This is the best score of the party in this newspaper since July 2011.
This amounts to an increase of 1.3 percentage points from the poll numbers of January at a poll made by Infact for VG.
– I think we are now being awarded  for charting a steady course in a troubled time for the country with rising unemployment and a huge asylum influx. Meanwhile, events have made clear that the other parties are waffling, while the government is charting a steady course,  Progress Party leader and Minister of Finance Siv Jensen says.
The Government Partner Right falls by 2.2 percentage points to 21.4 percent, while Labor has increased their support by 0.6 percentage points to 34 percent support.
For the other parties the poll numbers are as follows: Red 2 (0.2), the Socialist Left Party 4.1 (-0.8), the Centre Party 7.4 (unchanged), the Green Party 4.3 (0.4) , Christian Democrats 4.7 (-0.4), Left 3.7 (0.5) and other parties 1.9 (0.4).
