Public Prosecutor asks Kripos to investigate children abuse in the Philippines

The public prosecutor has asked Kripos to investigate possible Norwegian customers of a live-streamed assault.

After the newspaper VG wrote about Norwegians who are linked to two Philippine online groups who organize very serious offenses against children this weekend, the Director of Public Prosecutions has announced that Kripos will examine that information.

The group has allegedly sold video of live children abuse worldwide, including to Norwegians.

According to VG, Attorney General Tor-Aksel Busch asked Kripos to consider whether a centralized investigation would be best, or whether each case should be investigated by individual police.

If the latter is the best option, he wants Kripos to do so, including assisting the police districts and making police familiar with the cases.
