Queen Sonja has canceled a commitment of participating at an exhibition opening at the Henie Onstad Art Center on January 2, the day before Ari Behn’s funeral.
The event has been taken out of the Queen’s program, reports the Royal Palace to NRK.
Communications Manager Guri Ofstad Varpe does not want to say anything about the cause of the cancellation or whether it is linked to Behn’s funeral.
– “I have no comment on that,” she tells NTB.
She states that no other changes have been made to the Castle’s program.
Ari Behn took his own life on Christmas Day and his funeral will be officiated at the Oslo Cathedral on Friday, January 3 at 13:00.
