The police were notified of the incident at 10:42 PM.

“The girl was driving on a pedestrian and bicycle path, and when she came to a pedestrian crossing, which crossed a county road, she was hit by the car,” operations manager Terje Marstad in the Eastern Police District told NTB on Wednesday morning.

The girl was flown to Ullevål hospital in Oslo by air ambulance just after 11 PM.

“We were first informed that she is seriously injured, but now, in the morning, the hospital states that the condition is on the verge of life-threatening,” Marstad said.
