Several railway sections in Eastern Norway and Trøndelag will be completely or partially closed due to upgrades and maintenance work during the Easter week.

The section Oslo S to Lillestrøm on Hovedbanen will be closed to local trains (L1) from March 25 to April 5 at 10:00 AM, Bane Nor writes. The section will be closed because a new signaling system at Bryn will be implemented.

From March 27 to April 4, the section between Asker and Drammen will be completely closed due to the Lieråsen tunnel’s maintenance. On April 4, the section from Drammen to Gulskogen and Sande will also be closed.

The Østfold line will be closed between Oslo S and Rygge and Oslo S and Kråkstad from April 1 to April 4 for maintenance work.

During the same period, the Støren-Steinkjer section on the Dovre line and the Nordlands line will also be closed.
