The Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE) has issued a flood warning on a yellow level. On Monday evening, a rain warning was also sent out on a yellow level.

It has been raining a lot lately, so there is already great water flow in many rivers and a lot of water in the ground. It is uncertain where the rain will hit and how much is coming, but in the areas that receive the most rainfall, floodwater is expected to be on yellow level.
On Saturday, the Meteorological Institute stated that already one week into September more rainfall than normal for the whole month in Oslo. The amount of precipitation so far in September was up to 94.1 millimeters, while the September normal is 90 millimeters.
