A man in his mid-50s has been arrested and charged with abuse of emergency services. Allegations of false pain during restaurant visits was the cause for the indictment.
The man was accused up to eight times of having simulated chest pain at several restaurants in the Lower Glomma region of Østfold after receiving the bill for food and drinks that he himself had ordered, NRK news reported.
Ambulances have been called every time, but the personnel have not found anything wrong with the man.
– It was eventually Ambulance central that responded to the call, said detective chief Kai Andersen of Sarpsborg police.
