Risk of bus strike
There may be a bus strike in Norway after wage negotiations between the Traffic Occupation Association and NHO and Spekter broke down.
Now the National Arbitrator will step in and try to help the parties in reaching a settlement, the Traffic Occupation Association reports.
– If no agreement is reached by early May, there will be a large-scale bus strike, warns the union’s chief negotiator Linda Jaeger.
She says there is a substantial gap between the parties on issues of economics and how to schedule the workdays of the drivers.
