Locally there is a high risk of forest fires in Sogn og Fjordane on Saturday afternoon. But even if fires should start, it is quite possible that nature itself will take care of them

Because according to OBS forecasts from the Meteorological Institute there is:- Great danger  of grass and forest fire  until significant amounts of precipitation come pouring down.
And  it seems likely that it’s going to rain many places this afternoon. There are reports of locally heavy showers in both Hordaland, Sogn og Fjordane and in western Norway.

Both in Hordaland and Sogn og Fjordane meteorologists forecast that you may get between 20 and 30 millimeters of rain in three hours Saturday afternoon. For Sunnmøre the metereologist forecast 10 to 20 millimeters in a short time.
– There is a risk of localized flooding, small landslides and / or debris flows where squalls hit, according to the forecast.
