Strikes in 112 private kindergartens may start from Tuesday for about a week if the mediation between Private Kindergarten Association and three unions are not successful.
The parties will meet at the State mediator on Monday 10:00 O’clock after discussions stopped on June 9th this year.
The dispute concerns a temporary defined contribution as several thousand employees in private kindergartens, in anticipation of a new and lasting settlement.
The cause of the rupture was a claim of trade union, the Union of Education and Delta to increase saving rate in the transitional arrangement for defined contribution pensions for new members in PBL from 5 to 7 percent.
Strike will initially affect 1,321 employees in 112 private kindergartens in Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim, Skien, Halden and Fredrikstad to be taken out on strike.
