A man in his 20s is charged with sexual intercourse with a child under 16. The case will be processed in the Romerike and Glåmdal District Court in November.
According to the indictment, the man allegedly had regular sexual intercourse with a young girl over a period of 12 months in 2019 and 2020, the newspaper Romerikes Blad writes.
When the relationship first began, the girl was 13 years old.
He is also accused of being in possession of a film showing sexual intercourse between the two.
According to the newspaper, the man has held several high-ranking positions in a nationwide religious youth organization. He currently has no position in the organization.
The trial is scheduled for November 23.
