Ropstad elected as new KrF leader
Kjell Ingolf Ropstad was elected on Saturday as the new KrF leader. He now would like to heal the wounds that the previous harrowing election in the party from last autumn created.
The 33-year-old, who becomes the youngest leader of the Christian center party, was elected by acclamation with the two new deputy chairmen Olaug Bollestad and Ingelin Noresjø at the party’s national meeting in Sola on Saturday.
The new party leadership was welcomed with great and long-standing ovations by the KrF delegates.
