The royal couple invite 200 guests to golden wedding anniversary
The royal couple will share their gold wedding anniversary with 200 of Norway’s residents attending the festival service in Oslo Cathedral on August 29th.
‘’If you wish to participate in the celebration of the gold wedding ceremony and attend the festival service in Oslo Cathedral on August 29, 2018,you can send an email to [email protected] before Friday 24th of August 2018 at 16.00 to the website of the Palace.
The invitations will be distributed according to the “first come first served” principle as far as the seats go.
On March 19,1968, an official announcement from the Palace revealed that an engagement had been signed between Crown Prince Harald and “Miss” Sonja Haraldsen.
The wedding was just over half a year later in Oslo Cathedral, on August 29,1968.
