Russia: The Sputnik V vaccine is 95% effective
Russian authorities announced that the Russian-produced Sputnik V vaccine against coronavirus is 95% accurate.
Preliminary results have shown that the vaccine was 92% effective.
According to the news agency Tass, there are now 120,000 doses of the vaccine in circulation on the civilian market.
On Monday, the BBC reported that the corona vaccine developed by manufacturer AstraZeneca and Oxford University was 70% effective.
Pfizer and Moderna’s vaccines both demonstrated 95% efficiency for their vaccine candidates.
