Russia’s ambassador to Norway praised the Norwegian authorities for following up on Russians in Norway.

“(I’d like to give) all the (necessary) credit to the Norwegian authorities. They have repeatedly – the Prime Minister, the Foreign Minister, the Minister of Justice, and the police – spoken out to prevent ‘Russophobia’,” Ambassador Teimuraz Ramishvili said in an interview with the Russian TV channel Russia 24, Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK) reports.

Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre (AP) has repeatedly emphasized that Russians in Norway are not responsible for the war in Ukraine and that Russians living in Norway should be treated decently.
