Four Poles at quarantine hotels in Sandefjord were fined NOK 13,000 each during the night between Sunday and Monday for not complying with the police’s orders.

The police were notified just before 1:00 AM on Monday that the four men from Poland did not stay in their rooms as they should have during the entry quarantine.

This happened after the police ordered the four to stay in their rooms earlier in the evening.

“They had not followed this order, and thus they were fined. They have not been fined for violating the quarantine provisions but for not complying with the order to stay in their own rooms,” operations manager Ottar Steinstø in the Southeast Police District told news bureau NTB.

The four men are all in their 20s and 30s.
