SAS reports increase in passenger numbers

A total of 946,000 people traveled with SAS in February. That is 186,000 more than in January, when 760,000 passengers flew with the company.

The February figures are an increase of as much as 320% compared to the same month last year – when the corona restrictions hit the aviation industry hard.

“We see that demand is positively affected as travel restrictions around the world are easing. 

“We must be quick and flexible when demand changes due to unexpected events such as a pandemic or the uncertain geopolitical situation,” SAS’s CEO, Anko Van der Werff, stated.
