Seven new corona cases registered in Bergen in the last 24 hours

Seven new infection cases have been registered in Bergen in the last 24 hours. All the cases are close contacts of infected people or associated with known outbreaks.

One of the newly infected people has been diagnosed with the British corona variant, the Bergen Municipality stated on its website.

On Friday, there were 13 new cases of infection.

More people have tested themselves for the coronavirus this week compared to last week. A total of 9,018 people tested themselves during the first six days, compared with 6,603 the week before.

A total of 4,634 people have been infected with the coronavirus in Bergen since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic.
