Seven people who were vaccinated in Kongsvinger on Thursday received a saline injection instead of a vaccine. The Municipality is now working on mapping out the cases.
On its Facebook profile, Kongsvinger Municipality stated that a routine issue led to seven of the 147 people who were vaccinated in Holthallen between noon and 1:30 AM on Thursday received a saline injection instead of the corona vaccine.
The newspaper Mitt Kongsvinger first wrote about the case.
The Municipality stated that the vaccine team would contact everyone who received the vaccine during this period. They will, with the help of blood tests and individual assessments, identify the seven people.
The seven will be offered a new vaccination appointment as soon as the Municipality identifies them. The Municipality has informed the National Institute of Public Health (FHI) about the incident.
