The government allows several groups of up to 200 people, so-called cohorts, to participate one after the other in the same event.

– “These changes make it easier to spread guests over a longer period, so that the rules become easier to practice for events that extend over several hours or days,” says Minister of Trade and Industry Iselin Nybø (V) in a press release.

Thus, for example, 600 people will be able to participate in the same event, provided they are divided into three cohorts that are not present at the same time.

– “This applies as long as there are never more than 200 participants at the same time at the event. The groups with 200 participants are replaced in a professionally sound infection control manner, and without coming into contact with each other,” says Nybø.
