Three people arrested

Three people have been arrested in connection with the investigation of the murder of Dan Eivind Lid in Kristiansand, the police confirmed on Tuesday afternoon.

“The investigation has led to three people being arrested. One was arrested yesterday, and two were arrested today. All three are charged with murder or complicity in murder,” police attorney Morten Formo in Agder police district said during the press conference.

They are all known to the police from the past to varying degrees, and two of them have been convicted before.

“It is too early to say anything about the motive, but there is nothing in the investigation so far that indicates that the action was politically motivated,” Formo said.

He also said that they have not finished the accused’s interrogation and that more interrogations of witnesses will take place.
