The public transport company Ruter is gradually removing the stickers on bus, train and tram seats according to new guidelines. Now you can sit next to each other.

Passengers can thus use more seats and spread themselves more in the means of transport.

The Norwegian Directorate of Health has revised the guidelines for infection control in public transport. Based on a traffic light model with green, yellow and red action levels, public transport in Norway is now at the yellow level.

– By sitting shoulder to shoulder, it is possible to limit face contact, which is important to limit infection, it says in a press release from Ruter.
