Raymond Johansen’s new City Council has been appointed. As expected, Lan Marie Berg was replaced by Sirin Stav as the new environmental and transport counselor for the Green Party (MDG).

“Sirin Stav has great knowledge of the issues in the environment and transport sector,” City Council chief Raymond Johansen (AP) said when he presented the new City Council in Oslo at noon on Thursday.

An hour earlier, the new City Council was constituted. Apart from Sirin Stav replacing Lan Marie Berg, who resigned last week after a no-confidence vote was passed, there are no changes.

Until now, Sirin Stav has been the group leader for the MDG in the City Council in Oslo.

The City Council will continue to consist of the AP, the Socialist Left Party (SV), and the MDG. The City Council posts are held by the same people, with the exception of Sirin Stav.
