Six youngsters were arrested after a man was beaten and robbed at Grorud in Oslo. The police described the night as ‘hectic’.

“The man was only slightly injured, but he was deprived of a mobile phone. Our patrols have just arrested six youngsters who had the stolen phone. A case is being built’’ wrote the police in a Twitter message.

The event came on top of a series of violent incidents in Oslo on Saturday night. Several were brought in by the police for violence, while others had to be treated for a bodily injury.

‘’Patrols stated that there are very many people out there. It is very hectic in the city. Fortunately, there have been no serious bodily injuries, but there have been many fights with the use of kicks, blows, and fists” said operations manager, Tor Jøkling, of Oslo Police District to NTB news.
