Six new coronavirus deaths

On Monday morning, six new corona deaths have been confirmed in Norway. The number of coronavirus deaths in Norway has now risen to 32.

In Kristiansand, two residents at Stener Heyerdahl care center have died after being infected by the coronavirus, the municipality confirms.

In Bærum, a person who has been admitted to Bærum hospital with a coronavirus infection has also lost their life, confirms the Vestre Viken health agency via Budstikka.

At Akershus University Hospital, another patient who was infected with the coronavirus, also died yesterday. In total, the hospital has had three coronavirus deaths.

At Skedsmotun Residential and Treatment Center, one resident died on Sunday night of corona-related illness, reports Romerikes Blad.

An elderly person with COVID-19 infection died on Monday in Asker. This is the third corona death in the municipality.

“We were informed earlier today about the third death in Asker due to COVID-19. It’s an elderly person who has passed away. The relatives have been notified,” says Chief Municipal Medical Officer Meera Grepp in Asker.

Neither Kristiansand municipality, Vestre Viken, nor Akershus University Hospital will disclose personal information about the deceased.
