On Tuesday, 53 new corona-infected people were registered in Skien. The number is the second-highest in one day during the pandemic.
According to MSIS (the notification system for infectious diseases), 70 people in the former Telemark county were diagnosed with the infection on Tuesday, newspaper Varden writes.
In addition to the cases in Skien, nine new infection cases have been registered in Porsgrunn, three in Kragerø, and one in Notodden, Bamble, Siljan, Midt-Telemark, and Nome.
