A woman has been charged with attempted murder after a man was seriously injured in a stabbing incident in Slemmestad in Asker on Friday evening.
The police described the people involved as an adult woman and an adult man. The relationship between them was not clarified on Saturday morning, Eivind Håndstad told NTB on Saturday morning.
“The woman is charged with attempted murder – she has not been questioned,” Håndstad said at 5:30 AM on Saturday.
The stabbing took place in a public place outdoors.
“A crime scene investigation has been carried out, and findings of interest have been made,” Håndstad said when asked if the police had found any weapons that could be linked to the act.
The injured man was flown by air ambulance to the hospital with critical and severe injuries.
