Another six party participants were confirmed infected with the Coronavirus on Saturday after four parties in Oslo West. A total of 35 people are infected after these parties.
– “As we track down cases, we uncover more arrangements with over 20 people in Oslo and other municipalities where people may have been infected,” says city director of Vestre Aker, Elisabeth Vennevold, to VG.
It is unclear whether these gatherings were before or after the parties in the district Vestre Aker, but Vennevold confirms that there have been people infected at gatherings with over 20 people in Oslo and at one gathering at Nesodden.
So far, the infection has been linked to four parties, while at least ten parties are being investigated.
On Thursday 30 July there was a party with 20 participants, on Friday 31 July there was a party with 40 participants, and on Saturday 1 August there were two parties, one with 50 participants and one barbecue party with 51 participants.
