Solberg and Søreide met Ursula von der Leyen: “We discussed the relationship between Norway and the EU”

On Monday, Prime Minister Erna Solberg (H) and Foreign Minister Ine Eriksen Søreide (H) met with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in New York.

The three met in the run-up to the UN General Assembly, which starts on Tuesday and which gathers world leaders in New York.

“We discussed global health security and the relationship between Norway and the EU,” von der Leyen wrote on Twitter.

“The EU and Norway have worked closely together on vaccine procurement and global vaccination work, and we will continue to do so,” she added.
