My deepest condolences go to the victims of the attack in Nice and their families, said Prime Minister Erna Solberg.
– We stand together with France and look to put an end to terrorist acts, Solberg wrote on Twitter.
84 people are confirmed dead in this attack where a truck senselessly drove through a crowd during the celebration of Bastille Day in Nice late Thursday night.
– This was so pointless, so brutal, so cruel. My thoughts are with the victims, and with all who have lost a close family member or even a friend. The French people are the ones again affected. We will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder – in the fight against terrorism and for democracy, wrote the Prime Minister on her Facebook profile.
