Norway should do more to help Ukraine, both in terms of humanitarian and arms support, Conservative Party (H) leader Erna Solberg said on Wednesday.

“We must contribute with the things we have the opportunity to contribute,” Solberg told NTB.

She expects concrete requests from President Volodymyr Zelenskyj during his speech to the Norwegian parliament (Storting) on Wednesday.

“I have seen what he has said to the other parliaments, so I think we could get somewhat of the same message,” Solberg noted.

“To the extent that we have military equipment that is in demand and that we can give away, I think the government must assess it,” she added.

Solberg also criticized the government, saying that it reacted too slowly in delivering humanitarian aid and assistance this winter.

  1. Since Erna could stop a tank, she should send herself.
If Høyre is Norwegian and stands for peace, she might instead urge the Ukrainians to agree to the fair peace and security treaty the Russians need … after us breaking our past security promises and then breaking our Budapest peace agreement with them with our Western-backed/-instigated 2014 Kiev coup – not a revolution for 4 obvious, objective reasons.

Playing nuclear chicken against nuclear superpower Russia with our children’s lives – and no civil defense/sivillforsvars to speak of, except for her and other elites – is worse than a no-winner.
