Prime Minister Erna Solberg (H), President Donald Trump and Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær are the most talked about people in Norwegian media in 2019.

– “With around 45,800 media reports, Prime Minister Erna Solberg is the most talked about in Norwegian media in 2019. Just behind 42,800 postings we find US President Donald Trump. Solberg and Trump have been the two most talked about people throughout the year,” says Guro Lindebjerg, chief of analytics at Retriever, to Media24.

And just like halfway through the year, Ole Gunnar Solskjær ranks third behind just Solberg and Trump. Sunshine is actually the only other thing on the top 10 non-politician list.

In the next places on the top 10 list come FRP leader and Finance Minister Siv Jensen, AP leader Jonas Gahr Støre, Left leader and Minister of Culture and Gender Equality Trine Skei Grande, Transport Minister Jon Georg Dale (Frp), UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Minister of Health Bent Høie (H) and Minister of Climate and Environment Ola Elvestuen (V).
