Last year, a man with light intellectual disabilities was convicted of several cyber assaults in relation to Norwegian children. The 20-year-old has now been charged again.

Last year, the man was sentenced to five years in prison for sexual assault on a number of Norwegian children.

Now he is accused of doing the same to children living in other countries, the newspaper Stavanger Aftenblad writes.

The verdict from the Court of Appeal last year states that the accused has light intellectual disabilities and that he has a level of ability that resembles a primary school student.

According to the new indictment, the girls he allegedly abused are foreign. The accused is said to have been guilty of two cyber assaults and of having tried to abuse two more children. One of the offended girls was under 13 years old.

The new trial starts in Sør-Rogaland District Court at the end of March.
