52 corona-infected patients were being treated in Norwegian hospitals on Monday. It’s the same number as Sunday. 11 patients are on respirators, which is the same as the day before, new figures from the Directorate of Health show.
36 people are hospitalized in Health Southeast, seven in Health West, five in Health Central Norway and four in Health North.
Among the health authorities, the majority of patients are admitted to Oslo University Hospital with 10 admissions. At Helse Bergen there are four hospitalized corona patients, and there are eight at Akershus University Hospital.
233 corona-infected persons in Norway were reported to have died up to Monday. 8,249 people have been infected by the virus as of midnight, according to figures from the Norwegian Surveillance System for Communicable Diseases (MSIS).
