A 16-year-old boy has been sentenced to prison for raping another boy twice. One of the rapes allegedly took place in the toilet at the school they went to.

Stavanger District Court sentenced the now 16-year-old boy to three years and six months in prison.

Two years and ten months of imprisonment are made conditional on a probationary period of four years.

He was also sentenced to pay NOK 200,000 in compensation to the victim, according to newspaper Stavanger Aftenblad.

The first attack is said to have taken place in May of last year.

Two sexual attacks

According to the verdict, the then 15-year-old boy hit the victim in the stomach, and then he took the boy with him to a toilet where a sexual assault was carried out.

The second episode happened just over a month after the first rape was reported.

The second time, the 16-year-old is also said to have tried to rob the victim by demanding that he give him NOK 5,000 in a short time.

The convicted 16-year-old does not admit guilt and has appealed the verdict.

The case will come in front of the Gulating Court of Appeal this week.

  1. Unless exonerating details of the attack are reported, other students must have known this was happening in the school when it happened. Why didn’t they stop it?

Someone this vicious is guaranteed to be a repeat offender, unless what is necessary is done to stop that.
