Stavanger Aftenblad: 25-year-old man sentenced to nine years in prison for online abuse

A 25-year-old man has been sentenced to nine years in prison, among other things, for the online abuse of ten girls of primary school age, the newspaper Stavanger Aftenblad reports.

The girls were very young, and the online abuse lasted several days. The assaults have been filmed by the accused man, the verdict from Nord-Troms and Senja District Court states, according to the newspaper.

The verdict states that the accused used false identities on social media to get in touch with the girls.

The accused is sentenced to pay a total of NOK 2.3 million in reparation to ten victims.

The man’s defender, lawyer Erling Malm, was not available for comment on Monday, the newspaper writes.
