A 20-year-old man has been sentenced to three years and nine months in prison for purchasing sexualized pictures and videos from teenage girls, the newspaper Stavanger Aftenblad writes.

Among other offenses, the man also got a 13-year-old victim to film herself while performing sexual acts with herself.

The verdict from Haugaland and Sunnhordland District Court includes the abuse of a total of ten girls around Norway. All the abuse took place on social media, and the man has only met one of the girls physically.

Several of the abused girls had personal problems, which was part of the reason why they were persuaded to send pictures and videos to the man for a fee.

The man denied having done anything criminal. In total, the court sentenced him to three years and nine months in prison. In addition, the man must pay a total of NOK 200,000 in compensation to two of the victims, and he has had his mobile phones confiscated.

The 20-year-old has previously been punished for similar offenses.
