Still small landslides on E16 at Voss
There are still small landslides taking place at the mountainside in the Voss are where there was a big landslide over E16 on Wednesday. It is uncertain when the clearing work can begin.
The landslide took place at Hyvingstunnelen on Wednesday morning. This Thursday morning a special team has started with securing the area before the masses blocking the way, can be removed, NPRA said.
– There are still rocks and other objects falling or rolling down from the mountain. The crews at the site have observed stones and rocks falling or rolling down during nighttime, site manager Bente Bergstø says.
– We do not know whether the road surface has been damaged by the masses, she continues.
