Strong infection spike registered in Bærum

In the last 24 hours, 64 new infection cases have been registered in Bærum Municipality. That is 43 more than the day before. 

Sixty-four new cases is a sharp jump from Monday (21 new infected people) and the highest number of infected in one day in the Municipality. 

The previous infection record was registered on February 27, when 44 people tested positive for the coronavirus, newspaper Budstikka writes.

So far, 2,455 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in Bærum during the pandemic.

On Monday, new national infection control measures were introduced for all the Viken municipalities, including Bærum.
