The parole hearing for terrorist Anders Behring Breivik is over. July 22 support group leader Lisbeth Røyneland is glad that the case has ended.
She told Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK) that it has been painful to follow the case.
“It has been quite tough, but also very absurd. But it shows that Breivik is as dangerous as he was before, as he has been all along. That has been confirmed by the two previous trials and now by this one,” Røyneland said.
The court has heard detailed descriptions of Breivik’s actions in the last three days, as well as Breivik’s own explanation, and the assessment of psychiatrist Randi Rosenqvist.
The court’s decision will be announced in the next few weeks.
