Almost all corona restrictions will be lifted in Sweden on September 29, but there may be a need to have some rules in place for the unvaccinated, state epidemiologist Anders Tegnell believes.

“It is already clear that there will be a need for recommendations for the unvaccinated,” Tegnell said at a press conference on the corona situation on Thursday.

From the end of the month, there will no longer be an upper limit on the number of participants at events, and the work from home recommendation will also be removed.

Tegnell said that there may be other rules for the unvaccinated and that restrictions could be reintroduced if necessary.

A total of 14,702 corona-infected people have died in Sweden since the start of the pandemic, according to NTB.
