A total of 48 new corona-related deaths have been registered in Sweden in the last 24 hours. In Denmark, two deaths have been registered.
The pandemic has so far claimed 14,349 lives in Sweden. A total of 1,051,762 cases of infection have been detected, 4,619 of them in the last 24 hours, according to figures from the Public Health Authority.
According to the Statens Serum Institut, 2,505 deaths have been registered in Denmark since the pandemic started in the country.
In the last 24 hours, 1,088 people have been diagnosed with the infection. A total of 269,343 cases of infection have been registered.
Furthermore, 163 COVID-19 patients are currently admitted to Danish hospitals.
